Be more concerned with your character than your reputation...

You can easily judge a person's character by how they treat people. Your character always secures your reputation. For example, most people lose respect and support when they are not genuine and become that "I'll act like I care, support you, and treat you good as long as it's benefiting me!" type of person. No matter how much you try to form that "genuinely good" reputation, your true character will eventually show and hurt you in the long run and can ruin your reputation with those who you have gained support from or have built any type of relationship with.

Reputations are built over time and can take years to secure, but are painfully easy to taint. To have a good reputation is obviously desirable; it gets you friends, support, romances, and jobs. It sets you apart as trustworthy. Your reputation is what lingers once you’ve left a room (hopefully not in the form of an odor, but atmosphere)LOL! j/k

Reputations are unavoidable and inevitable. If you are consistently late, negative, disloyal, or  rude, you will be known amongst friends/family for being this way. If you regularly prove yourself as reliable, positive, genuine, and nice, people will appreciate that in you and probably discuss that amongst each other. People are watching us, taking notes, and forming opinions in their head DAILY regarding what type of person you really are, rather you realize it or not. For example: If someone cancels on me every time we make plans, I don’t hold their word for much when they say “lets meet up!” or if your portray yourself to be such a positive and inspirational person but are constantly battling others publicly and/or posting negative subliminal messages toward others on networking sites, which causes a conflict with who you say you are and the image that you are putting out, then 9 times out of 10, that is your true character!

I’ve always been protective of my reputation, which essentially means that I care how people view me and  think of me. I also care about how I’m seen in social settings and what people know about my faults, which is never beneficial. We will never please everyone, and sometimes people will form opinions of us regardless of our behavior, but that's just life!

I often see posts that say "I could care less what people think about me!" or something similar,  and some people just really don't care! But my advice would be; "Never allow what others think of you to dictate your future or emotions, but if you are a business man/woman or striving to be, a public figure, or anyone that someone looks up to, YOU SHOULD be concerned with your character(How others view you) because it can definitely make you or break you! Nobody is perfect by any means but being genuinely nice, supportive, and positive is a choice that can be made by anyone. I have cancelled many relationships(business/personal), as well as ended support of individuals who's character just did not add up to whom they claim to be!"

Remember: By paying attention to your character and how you treat everyone you meet, especially those you cannot do anything for you,  you will also gain a good reputation which will gain you better opportunities, relationships, fans, and support.

“Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

Tips For Daily Motivation (Please read in full, then get out there and claim your SUCCESS!)

Staying motivated can be so tough at times, especially when personal life gets tough which can make life itself seem unbearable when you have so much going on. There are days where you just feel tired and you don't have the strength to move forward. I'm a wife, mother, and a BUSY entrepreneur and balancing it all drains me so bad that I had to come up with things that I can do on a daily basis to stay motivated and make sure that I don't give up or procrastinate when it comes to accomplishing my dreams (my vision)! I have listed some tips below and I hope that they can be beneficial to you as well! I wish you many blessings and success with your goals and dreams! ENJOY :-)

- Feed your mind everyday.
Read, watch and listen to inspiring and encouraging material everyday. Just a few minutes a day can make a huge difference and help you to stay focused on what’s important. There is enough distraction and discouragement everywhere around you. You are exposed to negativity all the time. Some of it is not in your control. What’s in your control is that you can make a deliberate effort to expose yourself to positive influences.

- Start the day with passion.
The first thing you do or say in the morning often has a huge effect on the rest of your day. When you get up in the morning remind yourself of your dreams and your why. Say positive things about how your day is going to be. For example, I often say “today is going to be so productive and it will be the best day of my life.” It’s going to be better than yesterday and I will do everything possible to achieve my dreams.” Expect the best and you will get the best. That is one of the secrets of daily motivation.

- Focus on your dreams.
Have a clear vision of what you want . If you really want something, it should be the first thing you think about in the morning and the last thing you think about before you sleep. That is the minimum. You need to visualize this many more times during the day. What the mind continuously thinks about it brings about. Feed you mind the vision you have created every chance you get. With time, it will become effortless. You will not be able to separate yourself from your vision. It will become part of you. That’s when things start happening.

- Do. Do. Do.
One sure way to get demotivated is not to take any action. Do something everyday to get you closer to achieving your dreams. Little things count and momentum builds up. Inaction is probably the number one cause of frustration and failure for a lot of people. Take action today. Consistency is key!

- Be realistic
Don’t set unrealistic goals or expect too much too soon. If you do this you will feel that you are not getting anywhere and will be discouraged. Set out achievable daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals. This will help you to see the big picture and to understand how every small thing you do is adding to that picture. Please don't give up! Understand that anything great and worth having takes time!

- Be patient
Cliché, I know, but its true! Know that lasting success does not come overnight. Anything worth having is worth the wait. As long as waiting is not all you are doing! You have to do the work to see results! Remember these 3 P's - PRAYER, PATIENCE, AND  PERSEVERANCE!
