What can you do to enhance your motivation and awaken the power that will push you toward accomplishing your dreams, small and big?

  1. Set a goal. If you have a major goal, it would be a good idea if you split it into several minor goals, each small goal leading to your major goal. In this way, you will find it easier to motivate yourself, as you will not feel overwhelmed by the size of your goal and the things you have to do, and the goal would seem more feasible and easier to accomplish.
  2. Understand that finishing what you start is important. Hammer into your mind that whatever you start you have to finish.
  3. Develop the habit of going to the finish line.
  4. Socialize with achievers and people with similar interests or goals, since motivation and positive attitude are contagious. Associate with motivated people, who share your interests.
  5. Never procrastinate anything. Procrastination leads to laziness, and laziness leads to lack of motivation.
  6. Persistence, patience and not giving up despite failure and difficulties keep up the motivation to succeed.
  7. Read about the subjects of your interest. This will keep your enthusiasm and ambition alive.
  8. Constantly affirm to yourself that you can and will succeed.
  9. Look at photos of things you want to get, achieve or do.
  10. Visualize your goals with happiness and joy.

Never Give Up without Trying one more time

Why should you give up when you want something badly. Try, try and with practice and perseverance you will succeed.

There's a never give up story I read about Muhammad Ali, the boxing legend. He said when he was knocked down once, he thought: "And I thought, OK. What’s next?

It dawned upon him that when you don’t get up there’s no way you can win. And he knew that getting knocked down is part of being in the business. It’s inevitable. But once you know you can get up, no matter what, you become stronger and resilient.

I urge you to be like him. Don't think of giving up, when in fact you may just be on the verge of winning.

The other never give up story that comes to my mind is that of Thomas Alva Edison.

It is popularly said that he failed 9999 times while attempting to invent the electric bulb. He nearly killed his associates when the equipment in the lab blew up. But he persisted telling them that he has discovered that he had failed another time. And was determined to give another try. And, the 10000th time, it was history.

He brought light into this world.

So don't give up Try one more time. It's your dream to win. Never give up.
